Intelliflo’s suite now includes a new Behavioral Finance app

# Intelliflo Adds Behavioural Finance App to Office Suite

Intelliflo has recently announced the addition of a new behavioural finance app, called Investor Compass, to their office suite. This app, designed by behavioural finance specialists Oxford Risk, aims to gauge and evidence clients’ suitability through a psychometric risk suitability questionnaire that takes just three minutes to complete.

By integrating Investor Compass into the Intelliflo suite, data on clients’ financial circumstances and existing plans can be imported directly into the application. This allows the app to determine investors’ risk appetite and tolerance, financial personality, composure, confidence, familiarity preferences, and impulsivity. Once the questionnaire is completed and agreed upon with the investor client, suitability reports are automatically generated.

Nick Eatock, CEO of Intelliflo, expressed his excitement about the collaboration with Oxford Risk, stating that their behavioural insights and rigorous approach will add significant value to adviser processes and their investor clients. He also mentioned that Oxford Risk has already been working with Financial Planners and is targeting the profession with their insights into clients.

In a recent white paper published by Oxford Risk, they argued that Financial Planners and advisers needed to improve their approach to retirement income suitability. The paper highlighted how retirees’ financial personalities are often ignored but can have a substantial impact on risk capacity assessments.

James Pereira-Stubbs, chief client officer at Oxford Risk, emphasized the importance of integrating with popular practice management systems like Intelliflo Office. This move aligns with Intelliflo’s goal of providing comprehensive solutions for financial advisers.

Earlier this month, Intelliflo also teamed up with fintech firm Aveni to launch an integrated generative AI service in its suite. This partnership aims to streamline customer meetings and compliance checks for financial advisers.
